How does the Pet Chime system work? When your cat or dog lightly presses the moisture-resistant Pet Paw transmitter with a paw or nose, it activates an audible signal on the receiver. Train your pet to use the Pet Chime System: Step 1: “Bell!” Hold the Pet Paw button close to your pet’s paw or nose and say “Bell!” When they touch it, praise them and quickly reward them with a treat. Step 2: “Outside!” Once your pet has learned to touch the button on cue, place the unit near the door and say, “Bell!” When your pet presses the button, quickly open the door and take them outside while praising them.
